Water flossers in Anchorage, Alaska, can be messy and overwhelming if you’re not sure how to use them. However, once you get the hang of it, they are convenient and beneficial oral hygiene tools that can keep tooth decay and gum disease at bay. To help you know how to properly use the flosser so you can have a top-notch oral health, our Alaska Dental Associates team is thrilled to give you the following instructions:
-Step 1: Fill the flosser’s tank with lukewarm water. Then, firmly place it on the base and put the lid back on.
-Step 2: Pick the specific flosser tip you would like to use and then click it firmly on the tip of the wand. Then, choose the pressure level you would like the flosser to use to clean your teeth.
-Step 3: Lean over the sink and place the tip of the flosser in the mouth.
-Step 4: Turn the unit on and wrap your lips around the wand. This will help prevent splashing.
-Step 5: Start by cleaning the back teeth. Aim the flosser tip just above the gumline at a 90-degree angle. Wash the base of each tooth and spray each crevice of the smile.
-Step 6: When you are done cleaning your teeth, turn off the flosser and remove the tip. You can remove it by pressing the tip eject button.
